YouTube star Andrew Rea of Binging with Babish fame has moved on from South Park foods to make Homer Simpson‘s “patented space age out-of-this-world” moon waffles. The famed TV waffles were featured in season four episode three of The Simpsons dubbed “Homer the Heretic” where Homer spends a day doing whatever he wants after skipping church on a Sunday. In the episode, Homer actually gives us the ingredients to make the moon waffles — caramel candies, waffle batter, liquid smoke and a stick of butter — and Rea takes them and destroys a waffle iron trying to do it Homer’s way. Luckily for us, he shows us a proper way to make delicious waffles from scratch at the end which works for any time of the day.
