Autodromo Unveils the Limited Edition Brian Redman DLC Prototipo Chronograph
A nod to the livery of Redman’s Porsche Salzburg 908.

Back in the summer of 2015, Autodromo introduced what remains to this day as one of its best-ever timepieces: a Brian Redman-inspired rendition of its gorgeous Prototipo Chronograph. Limited to just 500 pieces in all (100 in 18k gold and 400 in stainless steel), the watch disappeared in a heartbeat, but automobile enthusiasts and watch collectors alike are in luck as the design is making a welcome and unexpected comeback. Specifically inspired by Redman’s legendary Porsche Salzburg 908, this iteration of the release comes with a bead-blasted case coated in DLC for a deep matte black finish. Additional details include the likes of a Japanese-made Seiko VK63 chronograph hybrid meca-quartz movement, a sapphire crystal, a genuine leather racing strap, and water-resistance up to 50 meters. Each watch even comes with a collectors box and a booklet hand-signed by Redman himself.
Those interested will have to act fast, though: the special edition chronograph is limited to just 50 pieces and available now from Autodromo’s web store for $775 USD while supplies last.
