Harmon Kardon Unveils Its Cortana-Powered Echo Competitor
Can the Invoke unseat the Echo?

In an effort to unseat the likes of Amazon’s Echo and the Google Home (not to mention Apple’s rumored device), Harmon Kardon has unveiled its very own personal assistant: the Invoke. Created in conjunction with Microsoft and powered by Cortana, the Invoke can play your “favorite music, manage calendars and activities, set reminders, check traffic, deliver the latest news and much more.” And, similar to the Echo, the sleek AI-powered speaker — which features a combination of three woofers, three tweeters, and two passive radiators — makes use of Sonique Far-Field Voice technology, utilizing seven microphones to isolate a user’s voice no matter how noisy the environment.
The Invoke is slated to launch this fall while those interest can sign up for updates on the release over at Harmon Kardon’s website.
