A Closer Look at the Intricacies of the Nike Air Max 1 "Master"
How many of these iconic AM 1 silhouettes sampled do you recognize?

With Air Max Day looming at the end of the month on March 26, Nike’s first two releases to celebrate the occasion, OG AM1 “Sport Red” and “Sport Blue” colorways will be hitting shelves this weekend. However, the most interesting drop from the upcoming collection may be the Air Max 1 “Master” or the “What The AM 1.” Featuring an all-black leather upper with a perforated toe box and accents, gum soles and black wool Swooshes, this pair samples from some of the most iconic Air Max patterns on its lateral sides.
Red toecaps harken to the original 1987 AM1 colorway, a green mini-Swoosh on the left shoe pays homage to the Patta “Chlorophyll” collaboration while a brown suede gold check combo on the right shoe brings back memories of the “Atmos Viotech” colorway. Various prints like zebra and leopard make its way onto the shoe to spark “Supreme Animal Pack” flashbacks and additional prints and solid colorblocking remind us of other pairs.
Take a closer look above and let us know if this is a cop or drop. For those who are wondering where the instantly recognizable elephant print is, Nike will be bringing back the Air Max 1 “Atmos Elephant” separately.
