Sole DXB 2017: There's No Such Thing as Being Too Excessive in Dubai
AF100 drops, Jeff Staple signings, Dior BMX showcases and more.
Dubai’s annual Sole DXB once again played host to a variety of exclusive events and must-see exhibitions. Major brands came out to play, including the likes of Levi’s, Nike, Vans, PUMA and Dior, the latter of which brought out a selection of very limited shoes and its BMX bike.
Attractions ranged from exhibits displaying goods from Supreme — including the infamous brick — to various opportunities to customize sneakers ranging from Air Force 1s to goods from Han Kjobenhavn x PUMA. Speaking of the Air Force 1, the shoe really took over the event — the four AF100 collaboration sneakers appeared and one of the campaign’s vehicles was on hand. Luminaries including Jeff Staple arrived to sign sneakers and a tailor shop was erected to customize Levi’s jackets. The event culminated in performances from the likes of Pusha T, Teyana Taylor and Serious Klein.
