A Look Inside the HBX Nike AF-100 Pop-Up
The exclusive collaborations take center stage.
Nike‘s eagerly anticipated AF-100 release is set to roll out today, with Kareem “Biggs” Burke’s take on the classic silhouette dropping first, followed by Air Force 1s designed by Don C, ACRONYM‘s Errolson Hugh and Travis Scott. To commemorate the anniversary, HBX is hosting a pop-up celebrating all things Air Force 1.
Offering visitors a closer look at the four AF-100 collaborations, the pop-up also looks to the history of the shoe, highlighting memorable moments in the sneaker’s history with a wall of Forces. The display hosts various Air Force 1 models from decades past, ranging from an original pair from 1982 to Virgil Abloh and Ricardo Tisci collaborations. Spacious and brightly lit, the venue is accented with imagery of musicians, models and artists styling the celebrated sneaker.
The pop-up is open 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. HKT from November 30 to December 6. Recently, “Biggs” Burke sat down with HYPEBEAST Radio to talk about his “Roc-a-Fella” Air Force 1.
