Virgil Abloh and Nike‘s “The Ten” collection has taken over the sneaker world, and now it’s heading to the Far East with an official Hong Kong pop-up exhibition in collaboration with HBX. To signal the launch of the “TEN ICONS RECONSTRUCTED” exhibit and its accompanying HBX raffle, we offer an exclusive editorial look at the now iconized footwear collection.
Emphasizing the design process of the remixed classics, HBX takes “The Ten” back to the drawing board to shine a light on the design’s collage-inspired assemblage and work-in-progress aesthetic. Up-close shots offer a satisfying look at the sneakers’ intricate details, from its limited-edition laces and plastic security loop tags to its signature double quotation mark text graphics, while individual shots add to each silhouette’s unique persona.
