Apple Reveals Its New Collaborative Series 3 Watch with Hermès
The latest edition features studded black Médor leather bands.

French fashion house Hermès collaborates once again with Cupertino’s Apple on their latest partnership to add an upper echelon of luxury to functional tech. Made for the Series 3 model in both 38mm and 42mm options, the Médor handcrafted bands come in both Noir Swift double and single tour varieties, respectively. The straps are made by artisans in France from Swift leather and include pyramid-shaped studs that protrude on opposite ends of the bands.
According to Apple, the strap design is based on dog collars — one of the first objects produced by Hermès and dating back to as early as the 1930s when it was adapted into a waist belt. The collaboration also provides the user with an exclusive Hermès watch face inspired by the classic Carrick font. Standard features of the Apple Watch Series 3 — built-in cellular technology for calls and music streaming without a paired phone, upgrades to health features, Watch OS4 and more — round out the functionality of the new release.
The Apple Watch Series 3 with Hermès Médor Noir Swift Leather in 38mm Double Tour or 42mm Single Tour will be available on November 14 at Apple retail stores, Apple.com, Hermès Boutiques and Hermes.com. Learn more about Apple’s Series 3 Watch and the company’s flagship smartphone, the iPhone X.
