Nike's Kobe A.D. Mid Gets Wrapped in Grey Snakeskin
Reptilian makeover for Mamba.
Following up on October’s Black Suede and Red iteration, Nike has released a new Kobe A.D. Mid colorway that features a snakeskin upper. The new shoe arrives in a grey snakeskin textured upper with the model’s signature triptych Swoosh branding colored along a spectrum of red to orange. The silhouette also features the familiar ankle webbing, a clean white midsole and a translucent sky blue outsole. The shoe’s notable feature is a detailed heel that seems to portray a set of plays — perhaps ones used by Mamba himself to knock down his favored pull-up jumper.
Expect this new silhouette, with a price tag of $150 USD, to hit Nike retailers and online shop come November 17.
