Medicom Toy Celebrates Eiffel Tower and Tokyo Tower With BE@RBRICKs
Marking the 130th and 60th anniversaries.
Having celebrated the Tokyo Tower’s 55th anniversary with a special edition toy back in 2012, Medicom Toy has revealed a new special BE@ARBRICK release for the 60th anniversary. As well as paying tribute to the Tokyo Tower, the new capsule also features a celebration of the Eiffel Tower — which turns 130 this year.
The two toys feature tributes to the tower’s host countries, with France’s tricolor flag on one and a series of red dots reminiscent of the Japanese flag on the other. Other features include “France – Japon” branding on the back, and obviously images of the two towers through the middle of the toys.
The pack is available now from colette, with the two BE@RBRICKs priced at €48 EUR (approx. $57 USD). As well as this celebratory release, Medicom has recently announced a BE@RBRICK collaboration with PORTER.
