Once upon a time, long before the hype pervaded popular culture, the major sneaker brands would typically deliver one, maybe two coveted releases a month, with a heavy emphasis on storytelling. Nowadays, it’s commonplace to see these different labels ditch the ‘who, what, where, when and how,’ and instead drop multiple pairs of heat in just one weekend. A welcomed dilemma for most.

With that said, we continue our weekly roundup of the most sought after silhouettes for the week, hoping to make your ‘cop or drop’ decision as easy as possible. Check out the list below and chime in on the styles you’ll be picking up.

Converse x J.W.Anderson “Glitter_Gutter” Pack

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: N/A, available via MatchesFashion.com in addition to Converse and J.W.Anderson webstores

J.W.Anderson has joined forces with Converse once again to drop a striking collaboration. The release takes the Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70 and Thunderbolt ‘84 models and drenches them in colorful glitter. The Thunderbolt ‘84 is presented in two color options while the Chuck Taylor does the same with mismatched lateral and medial panels. Both iterations sport Converse branding on the tongue, heel and elsewhere.

Air Jordan 5 Premium (Burgundy/Gum)

Nike

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: $400 USD, available via select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS

The Air Jordan 5 is back with a new premium treatment. Boasting high quality burgundy leather throughout its upper, its padded lining joins in on the luxe makeover with quilted stitching done in a contrasting tan hue.

Nike Air Humara (Burgundy/Olive) & (Black/Maize Yellow)

Release Date: December 14
Release Price: $140 USD, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS

The follow up to Nike’s Air Humara collab with Supreme has arrived in a new GR pack. The rugged silhouette resurfaces in Burgundy/Olive and Black/Maize Yellow colorways with a sole unit that’s prepped for rough terrain.

adidas Originals Prophere

adidas Originals

Release Date: December 15
Release Price: N/A, available via select adidas Originals Retailers

adidas Originals‘ recently-revealed Prophere hits the market for the very first time. The new sneaker features an exaggerated Three Stripes logo that forms a simple lacing system over its one-piece knitted upper. Red coloring is incorporated onto the outsole’s toe and heel areas, while the Trefoil logo is included on the tongue tab.

Nike Air Max 1 “Anniversary”

Nike

Release Date: December 15
Release Price: $140 USD, available via select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike SNKRS

Thirty years strong and Nike’s Air Max 1 sneaker is still a fan favorite. The model returns in a familiar colorway while its design stays true to its original form with a few material upgrades. Navy coloring clashes with red and grey throughout the model as white serves as the sneaker’s underlay hue.

Soulland x Nike SB Zoom Dunk Low Pro “FRI.Day Part 0.2”

Nike

Release Date: December 15
Release Price: $100 USD, available via select Nike SB retailers and Nike SNKRS

Nike SB links up with Soulland once again for a special take on the Dunk Low. The “FRI.Day Part 0.2” dubbed sneaker deconstructs the original Zoom Dunk Low Pro model, applying game royal as the complementary color to its black base, white piping and white sole unit. The Danish menswear brand’s touch is seen through graphics that bleed off the sockliner and onto the tongue in addition to heel branding that reads “FRI” on the left and “.day” on the right.

Air Jordan 6/Air Jordan 32 Low “Like Mike”

Nike

Release Date: December 16
Release Price: AJ6 ($190 USD) AJ 32 Low ($160 USD), available via select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS

Jordan Brand is back to commemorate another iconic moment in Michael Jordan‘s career. Back in 1991, MJ starred in a Gatorade campaign dubbed “Be Like Mike,” and in those ads Jordan wore the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine.” That colorway returns with hints of green on the AJ6 and now the Air Jordan 32 Low.

adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Blue Tint”

adidas

Release Date: December 16
Release Price: $220 USD, available via select adidas Originals retailers

The “Blue Tint” iteration of the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 is on the horizon. Following the “Beluga 2.0” and “Semi-Frozen Yellow,” the third of the trio takes a lighter route as light blue makes its way around the ankle entry and onto its semi-translucent outsole. Light and medium shades of grey are present as a complement to the aforementioned coloring to bring the color scheme full circle.
