Vintage PUMA Suede Model Resurfaces With Old-School Sneakerheads in Mind
Part of the “MIJ (Made in Japan) Collectors” line.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve witnessed a cluster of creative PUMA Suede reworks as the sportswear giant prepares to celebrate the iconic silhouette’s 50th anniversary next year. As part of the commemorative campaign, a boldly-hued reissue model has come back to light — paying respects to the lifestyle classic in a vintage throwback kind of fashion.
Housed within the “MIJ (Made in Japan) Collectors” line, the shoe’s upper is swathed in premium suede with its core construction set out in vibrant purple, while accenting elements of yellow make its way onto the side panel and rear side branding. White found on the midsole and inner lining round out the design of the shoe. This PUMA Suede reissue will make its way online and over to such retailers as BILLY’S, atmos and UNDEFEATED come December 16 for approximately $194 USD.
In case you missed it, PUMA celebrates Suede’s 50th Anniversary with Rudolf Dassler-inspired colorway.
