In recent weeks, the Nike Air Max 97 line has received several high-profile additions: the “Country Camo” pack honored several different countries, the “Bordeaux” version gave the silhouette a luxury makeover and the Ultra Premium version received an “Olive” rework. Now, with the year almost over, the silhouette continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary in style.

For the latest Nike Air Max 97 model, fans are being treated to a special Black and “University Red” iteration. While details on this version of the Air Max 97 are scarce, some shots have surfaced that reveal the shoe’s nearly-all-black look. As you can see in the preview, the “University Red” only appears at the end-tip of the toe area.

You can take a look at the Black and “University Red” Nike Air Max 97 above, and stay tuned for more official information about the release.
