An Inside Look at Commonwealth's DTLA US Flagship Store
The brand’s third official physical store.
13 years after its inception, Virginia Beach-birthed based Commonwealth heads out west for a new United States flagship store.
For its third brick-and-mortar shop, Commonwealth looks to bring its array of contemporary sports and streetwear to downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District area. Specifically, the 1,500 square-foot DTLA store will carry offerings from adidas, Converse, Second/Layer, Kuumba, New Balance, and more. Commemorating the move to California, Commonwealth also put together a Fall/Winter 2017 collection created entirely in Los Angeles. Besides clothing, Commonwealth’s LA location will also hold the company’s first exhibit, a “1980s skate zine retrospective” including a collaboration alongside skateboard museum Berlin and FACT. scheduled to begin this Sunday, December 17 and conclude on December 31.
