Having recently played host to the cast of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Jimmy Kimmel’s latest show offered up something a little different on a Christmas-theme: taking Game of Thrones into the world of Elf on the Shelf.

Elsewhere, it’s been a tough time for fans of the HBO show recently, with the likes of Sophie Turner confirming that the show won’t return until 2019. Speaking to Variety, she said that the series was still “six or seven” months away from completion.
