These Are the Best-Selling Video Games of 2017
Shooters and sports titles were very popular.
A roundup of the best-selling video games of 2017 has just been revealed. According to investment advice site Motley Fool, the year saw shooters and sports titles dominate the gaming arena.
The Call of Duty franchise earned the top spot with its Call of Duty: WWII title selling 2.28 million copies, and still counting. Destiny 2 earned second place with 2.04 million copies, followed by NBA 2K18 at 1.8 million copies. Legacy franchise game Madden NFL 2018 sold 1.71 million copies with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands completing the top 5 at 1.6 million copies. All sales recorded here are for North America only. With the year not yet over, the rankings could still possibly change.
