Adding to its roster of sleek running sneakers, adidas Originals is set to debut a new silhouette for the new year. The NMD Racer, part of the forthcoming Urban Racing pack, is set to release alongside a trio of new NMD_R1 Primeknit colorways.
The NMD Racer blends recognizable NMD elements with progressive concepts, making for a natural evolution of the NMD sneaker. The upper is smoothed out, making for a profile even sleeker than the R1, recalling the trim UltraBOOST Uncaged. Primarily monochrome, a black Primeknit upper and white BOOST are offset with colorful accents that replace the blocky midsole detailing. Meanwhile, new NMD_R1 colorways utilize color contrasting STLT knit weaves undercut by solid-colored midsole stabilizers and pull tabs.
Look for the shoes to release on January 4. Meanwhile, adidasis readying a “Triple Black” UltraBOOST Laceless for a January launch.
