Sleek, bright, and stripped back, House S is the newest home to warrant our attention. The space — created by Yuan Architects – is built on a hillside and the owners gave the firm the task of maximising room while building it on a tricky sloped terrain.

Yuan Architects created staggered terraces that extended the living room space onto the mountain landscape, as well as elevating the living space so it was no longer on ground level, ensuring privacy. The interior was designed so that there was enough room for interaction but also the ability for each person to have a private space to retreat to.
