Placebo Revamps Vintage Military Pieces for First Collection

Fledgling clothing label Placebo has taken the wraps off its first collection, dubbed “Induction.” The Toronto imprint purveys an unconventional range of outerwear, tops, and bottoms that are all swathed in tonal black. All pieces were constructed out of military surplus products from the ’40s and ’50s by designer Eske Schiralli. Standout items from the gamut include a wide overshirt with adjustable straps, parachute pants in narrow silhouettes, and boonie hats.
