Beyoncé is now the highest-paid woman in music for 2017 according to Forbes. The annual Forbes list was announced on Monday and saw the “Lemonade” songstress edging out pop-star Taylor Swift and esteemed British singer Adele. In 2017, the iconic R&B singer earned upwards of $105 million USD from her ‘Formation’ tour and record sales according to reports. In addition, Beyonce also saw success from her new activewear brand, Ivy Park and several other business interests.

The Forbes list was populated by estimating a musician’s pretax income for the 12 months from June 2016 to 2017 based on several interviews with agents, lawyers, managers and other fellow musicians. The list also pulled data from the Recording Industry Association of America, Pollstar, and Nielsen SoundScan.
