'Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie' Answers Age-Old Question About Arnold's Parents
Beware, spoilers follow.

The new Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie was released this past Thanksgiving weekend, and it finally answered one of the animated TV series’ long unanswered questions — Where and who are Arnold’s parents?
The show, that debuted on Nickelodeon in 1996, has long left fans of the football-headed protagonist unsure about the whereabouts of his parents. But the new film, which sees Arnold and his crew journey to the fictional city of San Lorenzo, reveals that Arnold’s explorer parents have fallen into a deep sleep in the jungle, along with numerous other adults. Thankfully, Arnold and the gang find a cure and they all happily return home.
While speaking to the AV Club, the show’s creator, Craig Bartlett, stated that while the new movie acted as a type of “closure so that everybody feels satisfied that all of the storylines got wrapped up,” he still hopes that there will be a “season six.” Stay tuned for any further release information.
