Inside the Resell of Supreme's Most Coveted Accessory of the Year

How many chopsticks can you purchase for the price of one Supreme-branded set? Two-hundred and eighteen pairs, according to StockX who delved into the resell of this year’s most highly sought-after accessory. The market for hyped sneakers and other drops recently examined the pricing for two of its most popular units. The second of which was the large Supreme lock box, which retailed for $58 USD but resold for an average of $120 USD.
Further into the latest episode of StockX TV, host Josh Luber revealed StockX Day which took place on October 20, that brought 150 people to Detroit and the StockX headquarters. Attendees were able to discover the operations and inner workings of StockX, tour the office, and meet the people within the company. In addition, the strength of the startup allowed the guests to understand the community of sneaker collecting, reselling, values within the market, and the importance of educating consumers about sneakers.
