'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Fans Express Frustration Over Fandango Pre-Sales
The servers lacked “raw power.”

Whenever a Star Wars trailer drops, you can expect the internet to collectively explode, but tie the trailer launch with online sales for the tickets and you’re bound to receive processing issues. Fans are posting on social media that sites like Fandango are crashing due to the overwhelming demand for The Last Jedi tickets.
The tickets went on sale ahead of the premiere of the trailer during ESPN‘s Monday Night Football, with most customers under the impression it would arrive alongside the debut. Though some fans might have gotten theirs without a problem, others have taken to social media to vent their frustrations with yet another troublesome ticket buying experience, similar to the issues prevalent during the ticket pre-sale for The Force Awakens.
Thanks for the notification about Star Wars tickets @RegalMovies but @Fandango wouldn’t load seats last night. Got Tix @AMCTheatres . pic.twitter.com/yAOQ6EteZ6
