'Game of Thrones' Goes Anime in Reimagined Opening Sequence
See your favorite (and most hated) characters like you’ve never seen them before.
If you’ve ever wondered how Game of Thrones might look were its cast subbed out for animated characters, consider your anime prayers officially answered. YouTube channel Malec has released this animated reimagining of the show’s opening sequence, complete with a suitably anime-ready remix of the theme.
The short clip provides a brief glimpse at how the series might look if it were ever to be animated, anime-style, showing some of the series’ most prominent characters — from Cersei, Ned Stark and the original Mad King to the likes of Danerys Targaryen and Arya Stark.
