BAPE Announces New BAPEX Drop for Fall 2017
Updated TYPE-1 and TYPE-3 watches.
BAPE announced new selections for its watch line, BAPEX. The collection, dropping later this month, offers up several original BAPEX TYPE-1 and TYPE-3 variations.
BAPEX’s designs offer playful revisions of classic Rolex styles — the TYPE-1 is a play on the Rolex Submariner, while the TYPE-3 is BAPE’s take on the Rolex Daytona. The new BAPEX delivery offers plain-face iterations of the TYPE-3, while the new TYPE-1 watches boast BAPE’s iconic camouflage pattern. All of the watches feature plain black, silver or gold bands with BAPE branding on the face.
Expect the new watches to drop in BAPE stockists and BAPE’s webstore on October 14. BAPE has kept busy prepping new products for the Fall/Winter 2017 season, including Shark masks and neck warmers, as well as two upcoming collaborations with fellow Japanese label WTAPS and America’s own Alpha Industries.
