Nike's "Triple Black" Vapormax Makes Another Return in This Week's Sneaker Drops
Nike celebrates its NBA partnership and “Flax” makes a comeback.

Once upon a time, long before the hype pervaded popular culture, the major sneaker brands would typically deliver one, maybe two coveted releases a month, with a heavy emphasis on storytelling. Nowadays, it’s commonplace to see these different labels ditch the ‘who, what, where, when and how,’ and instead drop multiple pairs of heat in just one weekend. A welcomed dilemma for most.
With that said, we continue our weekly roundup of the most sought after silhouettes for the week, hoping to make your cop or drop decision as easy as possible. Check out the list below and chime in on the styles you’ll be picking up.
NBA x Nike Air Force 1

Additional Nike branding is found on its heel, tongue and laces as well. The drop will present colorways such as white/black, black/white, red/white, blue/white, green/white and red/black.

The famed edition of the lightweight sneaker returns for those who missed out on its initial drop and following restocks.
POMB x Air Jordan 1

Nike

Nike continues its tradition in celebrating Latin Heritage Month, this time using the Air Jordan 1 as its canvas. In collaboration with street artist POMB, you’ll find the legendary sneaker donning all-black with graphics inspired by latino roots. The common Brazilian phrase “é tudo nosso” – translated to “it’s all ours: mines and yours” — is also a point of influence for the design. Its black-dominated upper is contrasted by the aforementioned graphics on its tongue and toe.

Nike

Release Price: $190 USD, via select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike SNKRS
“Bordeaux” makes its way back into the Jordan lineage, this time on the Air Jordan 12 sneaker. Michael Jordan’s twelfth signature model stays true to its original design as it rests atop an off-white-colored outsole unit. Its upper presents the famed “Bordeaux” coloring on smooth nubuck and pebbled material along its upper. White contrast coloring is also found down its tongue and heel branding.
