Also marking a new focus on sustainability.

Copenhagen label Wood Wood has drop a series of strong capsules over the past six months — including collaborations with adidas Originals, ASICS and Champion. For its latest release, however, the Danish brand has launched its “Double A” line focusing on understated basics and staple pieces.

The “Double A” graphic was first used by Wood Wood for its Fall/Winter 2009 collection, with the motif now exclusive to the new range. For its Fall/Winter 2017 offering, the collection features simple pieces such as monochrome and striped tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, shirts and knitwear. The capsule also includes a selection of beanies and caps, and all of the pieces in the collection are finished with the “Double A” embroidered patch. Each quarter, the brand will release a new “Double A” capsule, updating the classic pieces with a seasonal color palette.

Wood Wood has also taken steps towards operating as a more sustainable brand. All of the pieces are produced in Europe in an attempt to reduce transport, and all garments are made from fabrics that have been certified free from harmful substances.

The first “Double A” collection from Wood Wood is available now from the brand’s web store. If you want to find out more about the Danish brand, read our interview with co-founder Karl-Oskar Olsen from earlier this year.
