To celebrate its 15th birthday, Copenhagen’s Wood Wood has released a slew of new collaborations over the course of the summer. After teaming up with the likes of ASICS on two pairs of sneakers and releasing a joint capsule with NEIGHBORHOOD, the Danish brand has now unveiled a new collection with long-term collaborators adidas Originals to mark its actual anniversary.

The stand-out piece of the new collection is a pair of black and white adidas Originals Gazelles, which come with a rough, long-haired suede upper and custom tongue labels. The sneakers also feature a nod to Wood Wood’s home neighborhood of Nørrebro, as well as referencing football matches with the words ‘Madness’ and ‘Mayhem’ printed on each heel. The football influence continues into the collaborative apparel, with a dual branded football shirt as well as limited edition football scarves and caps.

The Wood Wood x adidas Originals collab is set to be released at Wood Wood’s 15-year anniversary event in Copenhagen on August 10. Anything that remains from that event will then be sold in Wood Wood’s physical locations and web store from August 12.
