BAPE and WTAPS Announce Fall/Winter 2017 Collaboration
Two streetwear giants, reunited.

Streetwear stalwarts BAPE and WTAPS have teased an upcoming collaboration on their respective Instagram accounts. Both labels have a history of working together, but this is their first joint output in years.
This marks the first joint effort between the labels in nearly a decade, although they have linked up in varying forms. WTAPS’ Tetsu Nishiyama produced Ursus with BAPE in the late 2000’s along with stronger digi-camo pieces earlier than that, and joined forces with BAPE founder NIGO on Doubtful as Double. The teaser images leave a lot to the imagination, but the “ISSUE” text recalls the militaristic print featured on the recent WTAPS x Herschel Supply bags. Camouflage is all but guaranteed.
Look for the release to drop in November, and keep it locked here for more news as it comes. In the meantime, check out our interview with Nishiyama and Herschel Supply.
