The First Trailer for Season 11 of 'The X-Files' has Arrived
Mulder and Scully are back at it again.
Taken place in New York just this weekend, Comic-Con had first dibs on plenty of exclusive trailers — one of them being season 11 of the much-anticipated continuation of The X-Files re-launch. While only five of the season’s ten episodes have been filmed, it looks like there’s still more than enough intrigue and mystery for fans of the long-running show.
In the new trailer Mulder and Scully are seen dealing with a threat that could — true to X-Files form — see the end of the world as we know it, while alluding to the duo’s son, William, also playing a important role in the story. During a Comic-Con panel, series creator Chris Carter spoke about revealing, amongst other things, that the newest run of episodes will end in classic cliffhanger form.
As well as giving us the first look at brand new X-Files, Comic-Con also played host to the unveiling of a new trailer for the upcoming Justice League movie.
