New 'Justice League' Trailer Premiered at New York Comic Con
Our first look at the film after a change in directors.
The newest trailer for Justice League, dubbed “Heroes,” has debuted at New York Comic Con, and once again features DC’s biggest protagonists uniting for the first time.
The trailer begins with a surprise appearance by Clark Kent, before delivering the harsh reality that violent crimes have dramatically increased in the wake of Superman’s death. The remainder of the explosive two minutes shows Batman recruiting his band of heroes while fighting within Steppenwolf’s hell on Earth. All of which scored to David Bowie’s 1977 song “Heroes.”
Justice League will be the fourth film from the DC Extended Universe, following on the heels of the mega-successful Wonder Woman released earlier this year.
This is our first glimpse at the film after news of a change in directors towards the final leg of production, with Zach Snyder exiting and Joss Whedon of Marvel’s Avengers taking the helm. There’s also been a heavier focus on Wonder Woman during reshoots of the film due to the success of her self-titled debut. Check out the trailer above and sound off in the comments with your thoughts.
