Take a Look at the 2017 Doernbecher Freestyle Nike Air VaporMax
Inspired by the colors of the Seattle Seahawks.
Thanks to sneaker photographer @sneakerprophet we recently received a first look at the 2017 Doernbecher Freestyle Nike Air VaporMax. Part of the sneaker giant’s annual collection benefitting the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, the multicolor VaporMax was designed by 15-year old Andrew Merydith, who is currently battling cystic fibrosis.
Drawing inspiration from Andrew’s favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks, the shoe features a royal blue and neon lime Flyknit upper accompanied by purple Flywire and laces. A blacked out full-length VaporMax sole unit accented by lime hits and Andrew’s #ILOVETHEFAM hashtag round up the design of the shoe. Check out the 2017 Doernbecher Freestyle Nike Air VaporMax above and stay tuned for more of the creative Doernbecher footwear models set to release later this year.
