Belly Unveils "Immigration to the Trap" Video
The latest from the Roc Nation champion.
At the beginning of this month, fast-rising Roc Nation artist Belly dropped off a new studio project known as Mumble Rap. Featuring 11 new songs from the heralded XO affiliate, Mumble Rap served as a collaborative effort alongside acclaimed super-producer Boi-1da. Further supporting his latest major release, Belly returns to the offering’s introductory cut for his latest music video for “Immigration to the Trap.”
Focusing on the plight of immigrants who faced similar struggles, Belly uses his latest video to convey a message. “I wanted to share a glimpse into the life that many of us live as immigrants coming from a foreign place, trying to adapt to our environment,” Belly explains to NPR. “All the while dealing with the culture shock that comes along with it.”
