There’s no shortage of NMD models out there, but adidas Originals still manages to pique our interest with the “Triple Black” rendition of the NMD R2. The popular colorway first debuted in May, but now we get a better look at the classic model’s slickest outfit, which is totally blacked-out except for the white text at the heel stripe.

The best part of the design is that the all-black sock-inspired upper — featuring tonal Three Stripes branding at the side, laces and heel tab — is completed with a black BOOST sole unit, offering a stealthy look alongside the premium comfort we all know and love.

The adidas Originals NMD R2 “Triple Black” is expected to hit retailers sometime in November. Stay tuned for the official release details and let us know if you’ll be picking up a pair in the comments below.

For more all-black sneakers, Nike released a winter-ready version of the SB Blazer Mid XT.
