Elegant and sophisticated come to mind when viewing DDUGOFF‘s latest menswear collection for the 2017 spring/summer season. Chosen as a CFDA Fashion Incubator 4.0 development program member, founder Daniel DuGoff looked to the art of James Bishop as inspiration for his upcoming range — the seasonal color palette of warm browns and beiges channel the artist’s 1965 painting Other Colors. Included in the range are sheer button-downs, lightweight windowpane-check shirts and fine merino wool knits. The fabrics chosen are generally airy to create a more comfortable drape with cotton and linen pieces evoking experiences of summertime road trips. As for a touch of graphic element, weathered billboard and highway motifs adorn some of the silhouettes.
