PHABLIC x KAZUI's 2016 Fall/Winter Lookbook Features a Stylish Elderly Gent
The art of storytelling through garments.

Designer Kai Takizawa started PHABLIC X KAZUI in 2009 as a project to make clothes with the intent of telling a unique story season after season. The characters, whether they are the clothes themselves or the people who wear them exhibit a tale that can be interpreted in so many ways. For its 2016 fall/winter lookbook, we see the brand’s garments styled on an elderly individual in a theme the brand calls “Omnibus Short Story.” Regardless of what the inspiration is for the range, what we can all agree on about the lookbook is the man’s impeccable sense of style. Pieces from the collection such as the loosely tailored tops and trousers give him a bit of a rakish persona, while the oversized coats and scarves showcase his adeptness at proportion and layering — all are part of the brand’s knack for artistry and individuality. For more information on when the pieces will be available, check out the brand’s website to see a list of stockists.
