Who would pass up a film featuring bloodthirsty supermodels?
In this behind-the-scenes video of Nicolas Winding Refn’s 10th feature film, The Neon Demon, the director and his first female protagonist Elle Fanning reveal several sanguineous trappings of the movie. Winding Refn shares personal motivations to make the film while Fanning discusses challenges she overcame while working alongside her bloodthirsty co-star and Dazed cover model Abby Lee.
This grisly movie pits a young model (Elle Fanning) against a cold-hearted City of Angels. Fanning gets guidance from fashion industry savants, but she soon discovers that the modeling world is much more vicious than she initially expected. The film comes five years after Winding Refn appeared at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival for Drive.
