Vetements Has Been Invited to Paris Couture Week
Demna Gvasalia’s buzzworthy label is coming to the French capital this summer.
To call the rise of Demna Gvasalia‘s Vetements anything but meteoric would be an injustice to the Georgian designer and now his imprint can add yet another accolade to its growing list as the label has been tapped to appear at Paris Couture Week this summer. The Balenciaga artistic director‘s label has made the cut alongside the likes of J. Mendel, Yuima Nakazato, Francesco Scognamiglio and Iris Van Herpen and will appear in one of the coveted new guest member slots at the event this summer.
So what exactly will Gvasalia have in store for the French capital? Only time will tell, but Vetements’ show will hit Paris sometime between July 3 and July 7.
