Paul Feig's 'Ghostbusters' Reboot is Back With a New Trailer
Can the project reclaim its hype?
It’s safe to say that, at this point, just about everyone is down on Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters reboot — probably due to the fact that the film’s first trailer makes it look like a flashier retread of the original classic, and a less-funny one at that. Sony, Columbia Pictures, Feig and company are looking to reclaim some of that pre-release hype, however, with a brand new trailer for the flick. Chock full of new footage (including more Slimer), the latest sneak peek does a bit of a better job at setting the tone for the film ahead of its release this summer.
Starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones alongside Chris Hemsworth, Andy Garcia, Neil Casey, Matt Walsh, Michael K. Williams, and Cecily Strong and promising cameos from OG stars Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts, Ghostbusters is set to hit theaters July 15.
