Watch a Scene From the Premiere Episode of Tom Hardy's 'Taboo'
A glimpse of the very first episode from the eight-part miniseries.
After treating fans to a brand new trailer ahead of its premiere, BBC One and FX have offered up a look at the very first episode of the highly anticipated Taboo. Though little can be gleaned from the teaser without context, the 90-second clip does well to reaffirm the volatile nature of Tom Hardy’s James Delaney as the explorer — thought dead by his peers before his unexpected return to Britain from Africa — confronts the madam of a brothel as he looks to reclaim property that his father left behind.
Check it out above and look for Taboo — an eight-part miniseries and the latest team-up between Hardy and Peaky Blinders creator (and Locke director) Steven Knight — to premiere on BBC One and FX on January 7 and January 10, respectively.
