Chelsea's John Terry Launches World’s First Virtual Reality Football Academy
The future of training is here.
Although no one is exactly sure what John Terry plans to do after his contract is up following this current season, the 36-year-old Chelsea star will still be heavily involved in the football world thanks to his new virtual reality football academy, the first of its kind. The aptly-dubbed John Terry Football Academy will provide young footballers with tutorials on training and nutrition along with exclusive updates and a further look into Terry’s life off the pitch.
Terry said in a statement:
“I’m incredibly excited to announce the launch of the JT Academy. Virtual reality is without doubt fast becoming the future and the academy gives users the opportunity to experience and learn the skills required to make it as a professional sportsperson; both mentally and physically, as well as a behind the scenes insight into my own life and career experiences. It is the first of its kind and this is just the beginning, I will be regularly updating the academy with new and innovative features.”
After watching the video, head over to the academy’s website to learn more, including how you can join the team.
