FX has officially lifted the curtain on American Horror Story: 13, releasing a teaser trailer that sets the stage for an unprecedented crossover season. The upcoming installment marks the long-awaited return of series icon Jessica Lange alongside an ensemble of returning fan favorites.
The newly released teaser highlights returning legends across the anthology’s history, including Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon (Murder House), Evan Peters as Kai Anderson (Cult) and Rubber Man, as well as Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, and Emma Roberts reprising their respective roles as Cordelia Goode, Marie Laveau, and Madison Montgomery from Coven. Co-creator Ryan Murphy teased that the season will function as an “Avengers”-level crossover combining worlds from Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, and Cult, with several actors portraying multiple legacy characters within the same scene.
The official cast roster features Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, John Carroll Lynch, Mena Suvari, Jamie Brewer, John Waters, Madelaine Petsch, and Tig Notaro. Formatted as 13 half-hour episodes, the broadcast schedule kicks off with three episodes on premiere night, followed by three more in week two, before transitioning to weekly double-episode drops leading up to the finale.
