Tom Hardy's 'Taboo' Drops Its Darkest Trailer Yet
“I have sworn that I will do very, very foolish things.”
Tom Hardy’s highly anticipated Taboo is just a few short weeks away and now we have our best look yet at the eight-part miniseries ahead of its January premiere. A joint venture by FX and BBC One and created by Hardy along with his father, Chips, and screenwriter/director Steven Knight (Closed Circuit, Dirty Pretty Things and Eastern Promises), Taboo stars Hardy as James Delaney, an adventurer who returns to Britain along with fourteen stolen diamonds to seek vengeance for the death of his father. Directed by Kristoffer Nyholm and Anders Engstrom, the series also marks Hardy’s latest collaboration with Knight, whom he teamed up with for Peaky Blinders and 2013’s critically-acclaimed Locke.
Taboo will premiere on BBC One and FX on January 7 and January 10, respectively.
