Off-White™ Is Set to Open a Temporary Shop in Los Angeles
Virgil Abloh transforms Maxfield Gallery into an auction house.

Virgil Abloh is set to collaborate with Maxfield Gallery LA on a temporary shop and exclusive OFF-WHITE capsule collection for the store’s pop-up series. Abloh is the second designer of Maxfield’s pop-up series that aims to give contemporary designers the freedom to create their ideal retail exhibition space. The OFF-WHITE designer decided to go with the concept “AUCTION HOUSE” for the temporary space, as the collection is a study of past styles from previous seasons, except through the lens of 30 years later. The “ROSE BOWL” collection is a unique offering that mixes vintage reproductions of classic styles with art and furniture with a total of 36 limited edition pieces, which consist of 21 men’s and 15 women’s styles. Prices range from $240 USD to $2,218 USD
The OFF-WHITE temporary shop will run from December 8 to January 29 of next year at Maxfield Gallery LA. During the December 8 shop launch, designer Virgil Abloh will be holding a special book signing from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with Midnight Studios designer, Shane Gonzalez, for their collaborative photo book.
