Conor McGregor's Next Role: 'Game of Thrones' Star?
This man could take over every part of the entertainment industry.
Belfast Live is reporting that UFC superstar and champion Conor McGregor might have a part to play in one of modern television’s most popular and acclaimed shows. In a newly-published piece, the Irish outlet reveals that the Game of Thrones crew has cast McGregor for an appearance in one of the forthcoming final seasons of the HBO show. “He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show,” the source tells Belfast Live. While Conor McGregor’s exact role isn’t specified, even a minor role would a go a long way in making the UFC champion even more appealing and accessible to audiences outside of PPV purchasers and devoted viewers.
With McGregor even warming up to the possibility of a WWE appearance, who knows how far he could go when it comes to crossing over. Just a week ago, the state of California also issued a boxing license to Conor McGregor.
