Behind the Scenes of Fear of God's Latest Temporary Shop at the Maxfield Gallery in LA
Experience the calm before the storm.
Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God was the first of many to kick off a series of pop-up shops within Maxfield‘s Los Angeles location. The brand’s Fourth Collection made its way to the racks in addition to an exclusive all-white capsule collection. Three limited edition colorways of Fear of God’s Military Sneaker were also released as well as a special ready-to-wear collaborative project which made its first appearance inside the Melrose Avenue space.
Throughout the space you’ll find items and designs that express Fear of God’s aesthetic as the space was turned into a ’70s-themed room equipped with wood-paneling along its walls, posters of legendary metal bands, and a cozy shag rug. Finishing the space off, a vintage Ford F-150 truck became the shop’s main attraction as notable names such as Omarion, Nick “Swaggy P” Young, Scott Disick (aka Lord Disick) and more showed to give some support.
Fear of God’s Temporary Shop in Maxfield’s Melrose location is currently open and will conclude on December 1. The gallery is expected to host other brands as well in the near future, including Vetements, OFF-WHITE, Mike Amiri and more.
