The Air Jordan 6 Is Getting An "Alternate" Look
The Swoosh officially unveils its reworked take on 1991’s OG maroon colorway.
The Air Jordan 8 isn’t the only classic Jordan silhouette to be getting an “Alternate” look for 2017. Joining the kicks next year is a corresponding rendition of the Air Jordan 6. Hot on the heels of this winter’s “Black Cat” drop, the “Alternate” take on the 6 — which first surfaced a few months back — is essentially a newly designed PE that MJ himself may have rocked back in the day. Reworking 1991’s AJ6 “Maroon”, the design couples reddish accents with a white and grey upper while “1991” embroidery appears on the inside of the tongue.
Expect the Air Jordan 6 “Alternate” to officially launch at Jordan Brand stockists and nike.com on March 11, 2017 for $190 USD.
