A Closer Look at the Air Jordan 6 Retro "Maroon"
The return of “Nike Air” heel branding as seen on 1991’s OG release.

Celebrating the reissue of the much-coveted Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” this weekend, we take a closer look at the retro sneaker. First hitting shelves in 1991, the sneaker boasts a lush off-white upper, complemented by maroon hits throughout; tongue, midsole and lining. While the Air Jordan 6 has seen its share of reworks since the ’90s, this particular model falls in line with Jordan Brand’s “remastered” programme.” Its ornate premium leather upper, not to mention the return of the “Nike Air” branding (which is noticeably missing in other AJ6 retros) mean this comes distinguishably close to the 1991 OG release. Look for the “Maroon” at select sneaker stockists including Wish ATL for $220 USD.
