James Franco and Bryan Cranston, two of the most recognized names and faces in Hollywood, were recently invited to take on the Hot Ones challenge as part of the show’s season finale. Host Sean Evans broke the down the rules of the scorching confrontation to the Why Him? co-stars and instructed the duo that they needed to chow down on a total of five flaming hot sauce-covered chicken wings while answering questions.

As they struggle through the challenge, the actors unveil some personal experiences before their onscreen fame — Franco mentioned how he once took a girl out to watch Titanic while working as a late night drive-thru cashier at McDonald’s and Cranston dropped an insane anecdote of how he was suspected of murder at the age of 20. Comedic as always, they also comb through their facial hair evolutions and provide explanations behind some of their most outlandish Instagram photos.

Watch the entire episode above for more crazy stories and to see if they can get through the challenge.
