Reebok Pays Homage to Allen Iverson's Influential Style via the Question Mid "Dress Code"
Reebok’s dedication to “The Answer” continues.
Before Allen Iverson, you wouldn’t associate an NBA player’s style with tattoos, baggy clothes, blinding jewelry and your occasional du-rag. As a result of what the NBA considered to be an act of rebellion, a dress code was implemented in 2005. Reebok now celebrates the 20 year anniversary of its Question Mid silhouette with its forthcoming installment reflecting upon the dress code seemingly made to halt Iverson’s expression.
Throughout the model you’ll find some materials that Iverson was known to wear before the code’s implementation, such as denim along its side paneling in addition to nubuck along the toe as a nod to workboots. The thematic silhouette is finished off with brown leather on its tongue and heel as well as gum outsoles and banned icons on each heel.
The Reebok Question Mid “Dress Code” will hit shelves on November 4 via Reebok’s website in addition to select retailers.
